I love maps! This one shows all the residential lots in Sandia Heights, a bedroom community nestled in the Sandia Mountain Foothills, on the northeastern edge of the MetroABQ. The blue lots often hover upwards of around three quarters of an acre & there are almost 400 of them. As the community is not in the city of Albuquerque, it has a water association.
The Pueblo of Sandia owns a pointed swath of land The rugged forest road to the off-grid community of Evergreen Hills, described by M Amedeo Tumolillo, sits further north of Sandia Heights, deeper into the maw of the Cibola National Forest.
