The MetroABQ can occasionally throw quite a party. Wandering Downtown looking for murals to photograph the last week in September, we found ourselves in the middle of a new annual festival called 508 Mural Fest, which was the reason we were looking for the murals in the first place…
Above on Central Ave in the Huning Highlands neighborhood is “The Cuckoo’s Nest” by Aaron Noble with Roberto Reyes & Faustino Villa, a mural from 2014, sponsored by 516 Arts & Warehouse 508. Below is a muralist doing his/her thing during the Downtown 1st Annual 508 Mural Fest. Below are flying pigs, on the Sidetrack Brewing Co wall, which shares a wall with Zendo Coffee.
