Leed Platinum Home
A Townhome? Not Really…
1508 Summer Ave NW, tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac just east of the Explora Museum in Old Town, is classified as a townhome, but it really isn’t. Townhomes are attached in that they share a common wall. 1508 Summer Ave & 1512 Summer Ave, it’s next-door neighbor, are really two homes sitting an inch apart, with double sound-deadening sheetrock on both sides, both sitting on a (zero) lot-line…they don’t share anything but the views.
Achieving LEED Platinum is no easy feat:
1508 Summer Ave NW received the HVAC LEED credit because it is the best designed system available, with the highest efficiency on the market. To heat the house, it will cost you about $257/year, and cooling the home is only $98/year. All the penetrations are screened to keep out unwanted pests, which also scored it additional points on the LEED scale.
I am honored to represent 1508 Summer Ave NW for sale.
I will be holding an OPEN HOUSE this Sunday, May 29th, from 2-4pm.
Stop by to see the house, enjoy the LEED Platinum & Energy Star-rated home, and gaze at the Sandia Mountains or the Downtown Skyline from the second floor balcony. You must see this place!
