Hartwood Art Center -- Artstreet Unmasked: The Artists of Artstreet
I was fortunate to find my way to the Harwood Art Center's Artstreet Unmasked gallery show. The place was very busy with artists who live or have lived on the streets, displaying their art & discussing it with the crowd there that night. I was drawn in to many of the pieces & bought a small textile from in another room, where more Artstreet artists' works were for sale; every bit helps.
Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless was the huge sponsor behind the event. If you still have some leftover holiday change, they're a great place to invest it...
The Harwood is home to many other things, two of which are large fractal murals. The night was a great opportunity to catch a fractal or two, too.
