Balloon Fiesta Invades Old Town

The owner of 620 16th St NW took this photo the first weekend of the ABQ International Balloon Fiesta, in front of her house. The two streets of 16th & 17th have numerous Leon Watson Adobe homes, mostly built toward the middle/end of the 1940's. 16th St north of Lomas Blvd is not super wide for a landing & balloon take-down, but worked here for a touch-down & take-off. There are numerous parks in the area with open spaces perfect for landing a balloon--Tiguex Park is very close & it is pretty amazing...
