Greater Altura

Above is the Greater Altura Historic Districts Map, in blue. The adjacent Sandia Ridge neighborhood, seen above in yellow, is another great Pocket Neighborhood–tucked away on zig-zaggy avenues, with established greenspace yards. Notice the great symmetrical half-arch street design. Parks & greenspaces added in green: Hidden (McDuffie) Park, Del Sol (Twin) Parks, Altura, and the three San Mateo Greenspaces, called the Workers Memorial Greenspaces.

The Modern Pueblo home, below, happily lives in Sandia Ridge–the landscaping was designed by author and NM landscaping icon Judith Phillips. I am proud to be helping some cool folks buy that home.

I love the MetroABQ area! Extraordinary architects live and create here; beautiful and profound art installations abound; Greenspaces and Parklands define whole areas of the city; extras like Farmers' Markets and cultural events add to our quality of life. I write about it all in the MetroABQ Newsletter.
